Seongyeong Bae, geboren 1998 in Changwon (Südkorea), besuchte die Gyeongnam High School of Arts und beendete diese mit Auszeichnung. Anschließend absolvierte sie den Bachelor-Studiengang des Keimyung University College for Music and Performing Art. Seit 2022
studiert sie an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Köln bei Professor Andreas Frölich.
Schon früh gewann Seongyeong Bae zahlreiche nationale Wettbewerbe in Südkorea. 2022 nahm sie an der Sommerakademie am Mozarteum in Salzburg teil und konzertierte beim Akademiekonzert der Preisträger. 2023 stand sie beim Klavier-Festival Ruhr im Rahmen der »ExtraSchicht« auf der Bühne. Beim Internationalen Music Festival in Paris im August 2023 gewann sie den 1. Preis. Seongyeong Bae ist Stipendiatin der Werner Richard - Dr. Carl Dörken Stiftung.
